Here at Toolbelt Tips we are happy to review darn near everything - any product or service that is related to the home repair industry. If you’d like to have your product or service featured here on Toolbelt Tips, simply follow the guidelines listed below:
Corporations:
We will never accept any money to act like we like something that we actually don’t (or something we do like).
Toolbelt Tips does run ads, but they’re sold separately and does not interfere with the review writing. Corporations must follow the same guideline as individuals in getting their products or services reviewed.
Products are also considered on a case-by-case basis only and not all requests will be accepted. Paid reviews are as honest as they come. If you have a faulty product, we’re going to talk about it!
Submissions for Review
It will help to get your submission reviewed much quicker if you follow our guidelines (new and subject to change).
Send us a short personal note letting us know what and why you’d like to have a Toolbelt Tips Review
Please do not submit software - in general software takes more time to review and given that I am just a plumber I don’t feel that our reviews would benefit you to the fullest degree. However, we might make an exception if it’s a program that can make our own personal projects more useful or if it is beneficial to home repairs or training.
If you have a software you’d like to have reviewed check out Lifehacker.com software is their specialty.
Send as much information as you can on the product or service you would like to have reviewed as well as the contact email and phone information in the event we’d need to ask any questions via phone.
I personally will get back with you as soon as possible to make further arrangements for your review.
If your request requires us to sample actual product, we will actually use and rigorously test the product and provide a complete and honest product review. All product submissions are final in exchange, your review will be retained permanently in our Toolbelt Tips Reviews category.
